Christy meets Patrick @ Watkins Glen International

I met Patrick Dempsey at Watkins Glen International when he was racing June 4th and 5th. On the 4th there was hardly anyone there and no one around talking to him, so I ended up getting to talk to him about a lot for about 10 minutes. He was the nicest guy ever and kept asking questions and kept the conversation going even when I was forgetting what we were talking about. He rubbed my back when I was taking pictures with him too. He had to leave and as he was driving away in his golf cart he waved back at me twice. The next day I went to his signing and he remembered me from the day before and got a huge smile on his face when he saw me and asked how the drive was to my house and back. He signed two things for me and let me go around to the other side of the table for another picture with him. It was great getting to meet him and it was a way better experience than I was expecting! -Christy |

how do you get tickets to the races? can you walk where the trailers and cars are? and is patrick a alot of the races?
