A change is gonna come|Episode 1 Season 4

In season 3 we left the season with Burke calling off the wedding to Christina, George failing his intern test and having to redo his internship, Torres made chief resident, and Meredith left Derek after he finally chose Adison over her.

In this episode we get to see George retaking his internship along with Lexie Grey, which is the sister Meredith hadn’t met yet. The old interns are now residents with interns themselves.

Burke has left but Christina doesn’t know it yet. And Meredith and Derek are avoiding each other.

The guest stars of the show are a deer which Izzy is trying to save, a severed arm on a pregnant single mother, a guy who is eating everything including cottonballs and surgical instruments, and a guy who had his head severed internally.

Ending monologue: Change, we don’t like it, we fear it. (Torres tells Baily that she knows she sucks at her job), but we can’t stop it from coming. (Meredith has to chose between her sister and Derek- she chooses Derek) we either adapt to change, or we get left behind. (Meredith tells Derek she isn’t ready to have a relationship, he says they are breaking up) It hurts to grow; anybody who tells you it doesn’t is lying. (Derek gets in a break kiss and then some breakup sex) But here’s the truth; sometimes the more things change the more they stay the same. And sometimes, Oh, sometimes change is good. (George is at the door and tells Izzy he loves her too) sometimes change is everything.

I like the new season cast. Having Lexie Grey versus just Meridith is good for the show. George is basically like a high school repeat. His relationships with the class that moved forward doesn’t seem to be the same from all the drama last season. This should still be a good season. Grey’s has won numerous awards as a TV Show and as Cast Members. Nice post. I look forward to more from ABC Television and muliple Grey’s Anatomy episodes.
