Its so cool to see the different scene’s being shot! This is a scene with Patrick Dempsey and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

Such a good guy (I’ve said it once and I’m saying it again!) This guy knows that a little effort creates huge impact in the eyes of the fans. He always tries to say hi and give the fans some attention. And here is a video with him doing just that.

Kevin Feige Talks More About Marvel Studios’ Post Avengers Plans!

The studio boss talks about the next three movies on the way, addresses the rumors that they’re making short films and reveals whether there was any truth behind the Patrick Dempsey/Doctor Strange news…
In a brief interview with IGN Movies, the Marvel Studios boss has gone into a little more detail about their plans for the future and has addressed the recent news that they plan on introducing new characters with the use of short films. As well as that, Feige alsso commented in the rumor that Patrick Dempsey is up for the role of Doctor Strange!

On What Movies Will Follow The Avengers After 2012:

“What happens after Avengers is what’s being discussed now. Obviously, you’ve heard about Doctor Strange. I’ve been a vocal fan of Strange for a long time. Black Panther, I think, I mentioned recently. Fraction and Brubaker’s reinvention of Iron Fist has gotten me excited to do some version of that in our world.”

On The Recently Rumored Short Films:

“There’s nothing actively being done with that. In the discussions of ‘How do we do more with more of our characters?’ and characters that may not fit in giant Ken Branagh-sized films, but who we’d love to bring to life somehow.”

And finally, IGN’s reporter managed to ask Kevin Feige whether there was any truth to the recent news that Grey’s Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey is the favourite to play the Sorcerer Supreme, to which he apparently: …”chuckled and said no.

The script for the Baton Rouge-shot bank-heist romp “Flypaper” is violent, intense, darkly comic — what you’d end up with, one of its producers says, “if ‘Dog Day Afternoon’ and ‘The Hangover‘ had an illegitimate child.”

In other words, it’s not exactly the kind of movie in which you’d expect to see Patrick Dempsey, the “Gray’s Anatomy” actor whose big-screen résumé has to this point trended toward fluffier fare such as “Enchanted” and “Sweet Home Alabama.”

But then, neither is it the sort of movie you’d normally associate with Rob Minkoff, the family-friendly director of Disney’s “The Lion King” and “The Haunted Mansion.” Or with “Hangover” scribes Scott Moore and Jon Lucas, who — before that lost-weekend comedy caught fire at the box office last year — had built their careers around such lighter-side films as “Four Christmases” and “Ghosts of Girlfriends Past.”

But there they all were this month — along with co-stars Ashley Judd, Tim Blake Nelson and Jeffrey Tambor — on the film’s Baton Rouge set. They all brought vastly different résumés, but most shared a common goal: to show they’re more than the sum of their individual IMDB.com pages.

For Dempsey, the desire to prove he can play more than the dreamy-eyed lead in romantic comedies was so strong that he signed on to produce “Flypaper” — his first major foray behind the scenes — to make sure he got the gig.

“It’s a nice character for me to play, to get away from how I’ve been pigeonholed and get a chance to show something else,” Dempsey said during a break in shooting at the once-grand Bellemont hotel, which had been taken over by the production and turned into a makeshift stoundstage. “I wouldn’t be hired for a role like this unless I found the material, mainly because I haven’t shown it — and until you show it, people don’t quite believe you can pull it off.”

Minkoff said a major draw for him was the off-center intensity of the script, which Moore and Lucas wrote 12 years ago at the dawn of their writing partnership. But he said, he shares Dempsey’s interest in stretching his artistic wings, and Hollywood’s expectations.

“I think all of the people that are involved in this are getting an opportunity to do something that they wouldn’t get to do under other circumstances,” Minkoff said. “This isn’t a typical studio movie, so we’re all given a little more freedom to have fun and challenge ourselves.”

In the film, Dempsey plays Tripp, a vaguely Woody Allen type who is neurotic, fussy, quirky — and who just started taking meds to help get his head in order. He also happens to be secretly in love with a beautiful teller (Judd) at a local bank branch — which complicates things when, during one of his visits to the bank, a pair of bank robbers stage a holdup.

Just when it looks like things couldn’t get any worse, a competing gang of robbers show up for their own bank heist. One gang exhibits the hallmarks of professionals. The others? Total boobs by the name of Peanut Butter and Jelly.

“Basically, we get to stand around the movie and look stupid,” said Peanut Butter actor Tim Blake Nelson (“O Brother Where Art Thou?”), sporting faux tattoos on each arm and a tattered shirt suggesting that his character finds himself on the wrong end of an explosion or two.

Soon, the whole thing morphs into what Nelson describes as “a drawing-room-style murder mystery” as characters begin turning up dead and the realization sets in — for Tripp and for the bank robbers — that maybe the dual robberies weren’t a coincidence.

“It’s got like four or five genres going on at one time,” Dempsey said. “It’s a comedy, a dark comedy, it’s a thriller, a whodunit, an action movie, a bank heist and a love story, all wrapped into one.”

It’s also got a legion of, as Nelson put it, “really weird characters in quite extreme situations. “I think the best comedies have really, really high stakes and characters who aren’t going to respond well in high-stakes situations — and if this movie is anything, you can categorize it as that.”

Minkoff said he’s a fan of Coen brothers films, and he sees a similar sensibility in “Flypaper.”

“It’s funny but it’s also in some ways very dangerous and intense,” he said. “People get shot, killed; there’s murder and mayhem. But it has a sense of humor.”

After a rushed 30-day shoot — all of it shot on sets built inside the cavernous Bellemont, save for two days of exteriors picked up on the streets of Baton Rouge — the movie wrapped earlier this month. Producers hope to have it ready for the 2011 film-festival season and, assuming a distribution deal follows, an eye toward a release in early fall 2011.

Car wrecks. Fires. Explosions.

No, it wasn’t some disaster. It was the movie “Transformers 3.” Filmmakers took over downtown streets and turned them into scenes of destruction.

CBS 2′s Pamela Jones checked out the action and talked with one of the movie’s big stars.

The scene of destruction at Washington and LaSalle streets included crunched up concrete and smashed cars -– enough to draw a lot of fans trying to get a peek at Hollywood. They got stars and fireworks, too, as special-effects technicians detonated explosions.

Signs gave pedestrians a heads-up that it was coming, but spectators say they were shocked and awed each time.

“That was awesome!” one bystander said. “The anticipation was worth it.”

Fans lucky enough to be at Washington and Wabash also got up close with co-star Patrick Dempsey, who was cast in the movie a few months ago.

“It’s my first day here, and to be on the set is really fantastic,” he said. “It’s amazing the size of the production and it’s exciting.”

Fans nearly lost it when they thought they saw the movie’s star, Shia LaBeouf, running toward them. One man came prepared with two cameras and got images of LaBeouf and director Michael Bay.

The film shoot continues for the next six to seven weeks in Chicago. Local officials who coordinate the production here estimate “Transformers 3″ could pump at least $20 million and generate 200 jobs for the local economy.

Meanwhile, Vince Vaughn’s latest film project, which is directed by Ron Howard, also is shooting in Chicago.

“Dear John” director Lasse Hallstrom has come aboard to helm “Tom’s Dad” for Point Blank Prods. and Johnny Depp’s Infinitum Nihil. Patrick Dempsey is attached to star in the coming-of-age film written by New York playwright Marty Casella.

The story unfolds in 1962 Las Vegas, as a successful character actor and vaudevillian nightclub performer struggles to keep up with changing comedy styles as his estranged son appears to complicate matters.

Point Blank Prods. is also developing an adaptation of Herman Wouk’s classic 1930’s-set novel “Marjorie Morningstar,” scripted by Point Blank’s Keith Clarke. The material was turned into a feature once before, in 1958, that starred Gene Kelly and Natalie Wood.

“The novel has an incredible following because it tells the timeless and universal story of a young woman who heartbreakingly discovers herself after falling in love with the ‘wrong’ man,” said Point Blank producer Joni Levin. “Our script is more faithful to the book, which is loved by so many.”

The UTA-repped Hallstrom has directed “The Hoax,” “Casanova” and “Chocolat.” He is developing the drama “The Danish Girl” with producer-star Nicole Kidman’s Blossom Films.

Repped by UTA and Joannie Burstein, Dempsey most recently starred in “Enchanted,” “Made of Honor” and “Valentine’s Day.”

Point Blank, founded by Clarke and Levin, most recently produced the forthcoming adventure drama “The Way Back,” directed and co-written by Peter Weir. The company also produced “John Huston: The Man, the Movies, the Maverick,” “MGM: When the Lion Roars,” “In Search of Dr. Seuss” and the remake of “Three Secrets.”

Indie bank-heist comedy “Flypaper” has rounded out its cast with Pruitt Taylor Vince, Mekhi Phifer, John Ventimiglia, Matt Ryan, Greg Germann, Octavia Spencer and Jeffrey Tambor.

Ashley Judd and Patrick Dempsey are toplining the project, shooting in Louisiana. Peter Safran, Mark Damon and Dempsey are producing with Joannie Burstein, Greg Walker, Tamara Stuparich De La Barra, and Gudrun Giddings exec producing.

Pic is directed by Rob Minkoff from a script by “The Hangover” team of Jon Lucas and Scott Moore in the tale of a bank robbed by two groups of crooks at the same time. However, they both come under attack by a secret enemy (Dempsey), to save the bank teller whom he loves.
