Shannon is an inspiration in her quest to become the highest fund raiser for the Dempsey Challenge. The Dempsey Challenge events were held this weekend in Lewiston, Maine. 2 of my personal friends attended the event; Shannon Gilmartin, was the top fundraiser and Christy Chase raised enough funds to attend the dinner as well.  Way to go girls!

Patrick Dempsey Cancer Center for Hope and Healing has its fund-raising walk/run/biking marathon coming up October 4, 2009 in Lewiston, Maine and the countdown has started for those who are doing the  fund-raising.
I am a part of the fund raising, though money coming in has dropped since I can’t go to the event now.
